The DS820SD uses dye sublimation technology, which can quickly create sharp, vivid prints at resolutions up to 300 x 600 dpi as well as provide a choice between high-speed, high-quality, and high-density modes.
With specialized roll fed media, users will be able to make prints ranging in size from 4 x 8″ to 8 x 12″, with panoramic photos as big as 8 x 32″ possible on Windows when using DNP’s free Hot Folder print utility software.
Print sizes include 4 x 8″, 5 x 8″, 6 x 8″, 8 x 8″, 8 x 10″, and 8 x 12″, with larger sizes up to 8 x 32″ available with free, downloadable Hot Folder software for Windows.
Both Premium and Standard Digital media sets are available.
Ribbon finish provides YMC colors plus an overcoat which can be set to produce a glossy, luster, matte, or fine matte finish.
